This thing cleans anything. The softwater feature is GREAT. Long clean cycles, howerever just set it before bed and clean dishes when you wake up. The countdown timer on the top is 100% useless. You need to open the dishwasher to see time remaining, then close it. Why is it even there? Other then that.. It's awesome. I installed myself and was easy-pezy to install. It comes with a long drain hose, so the extra kit I ordered wasn't needed. Save some money and get this one over the 9...

I have had Bosch dishwashers in past and this is the Rolls Royce of dishwashers ! Hands down, quiet and reliable and well made. I love the look and the little red light that shines on floor to tell you it is on. The silverware rack is brilliant. My fine china and everyday pieces are looking brand new. My old dishwasher pales in comparison. The only negative is that is is hard to read the settings on the door and it is pricey but otherwise a great purchase.

I love the features of this dishwasher and am so glad I paid a little extra to get exactly what I wanted. The various cycles (including the 1/2 cycle for small loads), as well as the rack configuration (3 racks!....including one for utensils) make this dishwasher a stand-out. The unit is so quiet, the only way you can tell it is actually running is to look for the red dot projected on the floor during operation. The one design flaw is they have no indicator for 'clean load' on the operating panel.
