Rated 5 out of 5 by NIKI LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!
I have had my dishwasher about 4 months now, and have learned to love it! This is not the dishwasher for someone who can't read the manual or follow directions. This is not a good choice for a rental property. Why do I love this dishwasher? It cleans the dishes spotlessly, and the stainless steel interior gleams! It is extremely quiet. I actually enjoyed figuring out how to load it and now have it down to perfection. I know exactly why those who don't like it, don't like it. You have to follow a specific procedure and use the correct cleaning products designed for this dishwasher...This German manufacturer built a precision product. Here is the procedure used recommended by my handyman and the instruction manual. Before starting your dishwasher you must run your disposal to clear it out. Follow this by turning on your hot water faucet and let it run for about a minute then you can start your machine. I use Quantum Finish (Powerball) in the detergent compartment, as recommended, and a Liquid Rinse Aid in the Rinse Aid compartment for each wash. Every month I dispense Finish Powerup (2T) directly into the bottom of the dishwasher to eliminate mineral buildup (and spots) since we have very hard water. After the machine finishes cleaning and beeps, I open the door to allow the steam to escape for at least 10 minutes and turn off the machine(alarm). I usually close the door afterward, and empty the dishes later. The dishes come out dry and spotlessly clean. I usually use the Sanitize with Auto wash option for washing my dishes. This was the preferred recommendation by Bosch Customer Service. I would not recommend this dishwasher for a rental unit because it needs to be run. My repairman informed me that "all of these new energy efficient machines have to be run"(have the water circulate every month) "to maintain lubrication" or I will be calling him out for repairs. The machine maintains a small pool of water which you can see if you lift out the filter located in the floor of the machine. If you live in a very dry climate this might be a consideration.

Rated 4 out of 5 by GT Bosch Dishwasher Drying
For people with bosch dishwashers. Mine did not dry very well until I got into the manual and found that you can change the way it dries. Do that and you willn otice a great improvement in drying.

Rated 5 out of 5 So Far So Good
Have only had this dishwasher installed for a month but love, love, love how quite it is and how adjustable it is for fitting just about anything in there to wash.

Rated 3 out of 5 Disappointed in what is supposed to be a high end
I bought this dishwasher because a friend of mine told me it was THE BRAND to get. She researches everything so I trusted her completely and just ordered it. The dishes don't dry. They seem to get clean but they don't dry. The other problem is that the washer smells inside. Because it never fully dries, there is sometimes a bad odor coming from inside. Even though I like the integrated look of this washer and the fact that it's quiet, I'm pretty disappointed in the washer overall. I've been using it now for 3 months regularly.
