This review replaces my previous review written shortly after purchasing the range.
We bought one of these ranges in April of 2009. The electronic ignition for the stove top hasn't worked in over a year. The electronic ignition for the oven quit working about six months ago. At least we can light it with a match.
In addition, the oven racks are not heavy duty enough, they bow in the middle if you put anything slightly heavy in the oven. The stove top is made of flimsy metal as well and bends with my stock pots on top. I bought this because it was Made in America and wanted to support American workers and have an oven that I could use during power outages. In addition, the company has replaced my oven know half a dozen times because the numbers wear off. They never solved the issue, so I quit trying to get a good one. Instead, I have a useless knob and have to always check an oven thermometer because the knob has no numbers on it. Lousy stove. Won't ever purchase a Premier made range again!

libertyinmo It takes less time to boil water!
Overall, I really like this range. Because the grates are set closer to the flames than my old range, it takes less time to bring large pots of water to boil and to make coffee with my stove top percolator. I love the completely clear window that you can really see through. When the power went out the other day for a few hours, I wasn't concerned about making dinner because I knew that my new range's oven could be lit with a match and used during an electric outage. :-)
