SCR600BL Series

The complete automatic defrost system saves user maintenance while an adjustable thermostat allows easy temperature management. I bought two of these Summit SCR600BL under-counter coolers to replace two similar ColdTech merchandising coolers. The description says the interior is "lighted", but this "light" does not illuminate merchandise on the shelves, it is simply a tiny little light on the side wall of the interior - which provides virtually no light at all.
If you are just looking for a glass door under-counter refrigerator you may like this, but if your intention is to use it as a merchandiser look at the Turbo Air TGM-5R, I wish I had purchased these instead. Meanwhile, these Summit units are quiet, run fairly cool and are attractive - just poor for merchandising.

like the look of the unit. i wish the handle was attached t the front of the unit which would allow a tighter fit on the side. the sticker on the front is etched so it can not be removed. and there is enough room in the unit for the shelves to have been built with a little more depth. overall it runs good, is quiet and keeps beverages cold

What bulb part number does this use? I tried to find a replacement, then lost the bulb! (Base type?) A LED bulb would be a good idea to lower the heat load.
The fridge works well, although any beer against the back wall freezes quickly - duh, since that's where the evaporator is. Great for carefully making that ultracold beer - just don't leave it there.

Love the Fridge. Its really really quiet and can get as low as you want it. At first we had it set too low and it went below freezing thus causing several Cokes to expand and burst - We did find the fridge easy to clean :-)
Adjutsable shelves work well - we actually do not use all the shelves provided.
Looks stylish for under a bar, expecially with light on.
Would clearly recommend this fridge
