This microwave is great, with full functionality. However, it came with no directions on how to install it (or use it) so I had to root around on the internet to find something that looked appropriate. I was replacing a Hotpoint and while the brackets were different, the holes were in the right place so it worked out. Next time, AJ Madison might make sure that the literature is packed with it-- they had put in their card so they'd opened the box from Hotpoint.

I needed to replace the non-vented range hood in a soon-to-be rental property, and hoped to gain some much needed counter space with this unit. It's worked out very well.
Please note that this unit requires an actual plug, not just the wiring. Probably not an issue if you already have or are replacing an over the range microwave, but my handyman had to install an outlet in the cupboard above it in order to connect the unit. But nothing major.
I rate its performance as "average" because one can't compare a non-vented unit to a fully vented unit, and it's also quite loud. However, for home use its up to the task, even when frying or searing; no smoke leaves the cooking area and odors are quickly done away with.
The microwave is very straight forward and does what it's supposed to do.
If I was faced with the same situation, I would buy it again. An excellent value.
