I very much enjoy having this Samsung refrigerator. I have had no issues with it since I bought it five months ago. I like the LED lighting which remains cooler than standard bulbs, which saves you some cooling effort. There's an LED light at the water dispenser which makes for a fair kitchen night-lite; it shines down and so doesn't blind you in the middle of the night.
There's also a gentle warning chime that lets you know if a door is open longer than 30 seconds or so.
Still haven't figured out how to use the fast-cool options, but then again I haven't tried and I haven't needed them.
The crushed ice is great and the controls for selecting ice or water are easy to use. When I first got it, I thought it was broken because you have to push the lever back ALL the way in order to get ice. This is a blessing for me, as it means I can set it on ice and my 2-year-old can't get any water or ice out of it and make a mess of the kitchen.
The filter does a fair job of making the water drinkable. If I could make one improvement to this refrigerator, I'd make the water come out colder; It comes out around faucet temperature.

We've moved into a rental property and lived for a short time with a very small fridge that had neither a water or ice dispenser. Anyway, the owner okay'd moving his smaller fridge out and even installed the water line to this new Samsung we purchased from our local Lowe's store. It was purchased as a floor sample in August 2011 and although there were minor blemsihes near the bottom sides we felt it would be a great value for the $850. Since then we have had absolutely no issues with our refridgerator. The ice dispenses easily and cleanly into the cup whether 'cubed or crushed' is selected. The water dispenses always at an even flow and is never too cold to drink. However, having never owned a side-by-side it took some adjusting for us to get used to smaller but much deeper doors. Love the night light feature; the blue LED lights on the panel are pleasing to the eye. And the LED lights that brighten & illuminate when the doors open allow for a bright white light to see in this deep fridge.
Overall complete satisfaction. Practical. Dependable. Excellent value.

We brought this fridge 7 months ago and have had to have the fridge replaced once and repaired twice... first the ice dispenser would not work, then the display panel went out, then the freezer stopped working...lost hundreds in food... it took Samsung 2 days to even have someone schedule the appointment... we had a warranty, but that didn't seem to speed things along. I truly regret buying this fridge.
