Durable as a Toyota, Drives like a Porsche. Bought one for a new home and, as soon as I could, replaced the one in my other house. I even called and spoke with the company in PA before buying and they were outstanding. AJ sales rep worked with me on the pros and cons of all of their ovens and this was a no brainers.

Got our range and a few things struck us. We went with White Glove installation and he checked the broiler temp. It maxxed out at 500 and he called it good. I mentioned the advertising says it gets higher (1,700 or something like that) and he said they never do. We went through a year of delayed ignition problems and four different broilers before we could use it. No more delayed ignition problems, but it doesn't get anywhere near the temp they say it does, tops out at 700 and has no range. By that I mean you have to have your food within an inch or so. I can place my hand under the broiler. The knobs are sloppy and wiggle and there is no range, it's either insanely hot (which they advertise) or almost off. No in-between which is frustrating. Simmer is on one burner only, not that big of a deal, but it also runs too hot. I have to stack rings when we simmer. We spoke with service technicians before we bought our range and a number of them had worse things to say about the Wolf and Viking ranges, so I temper my comments with the understanding that high-end home ranges aren't what they're cracked up to be.

Love this stove - for the serious home chef who needs to multitask with multiple high powered burners. Things cook super fast on the top burners. The oven heats accurately and food cooks quickly with the convection. Ive shaved about 15 mins or 1/3 of the cooking time off inch thick, breaded veal chops. The little "salamander" or 1850 degree broiler does a great job with lamb chops, etc. I am so happy with my purchase. It was a little pricey but still more reasonable than some of the other "professional" stoves and the quality is excellent.
