Excellent product. Very pleased with this island vent hood. Had this same island hood in our home in California and when we moved I made sure to get the same one in our new home. Also AJ Madison was VERY helpful in getting this product and came thru on everything they stated would happen regarding shipping and billing. Couldn't be more pleased.

We have not had the hood long enough yet to do a fair evaluation but we would like to address the problems we had trying to deal with electrolux to get the proper venting kit and filters. Because we could not vent the hood in a more standard manner an additional kit was needed. Noone at Electrolux could provide the correct part number to enable us to order the kit. Many hours were spent with us having to find information that should have been available through electrolux. The hood came with one filter and noone could confirm how to purchase additional filters which will be necessary. When we finally located the information we needed the kit was shipped and arrived late and with the wrong parts. We are in the process of trying to get the right kit. Filters are very expensive.

Great looking Range Hood without the stiff price tag of a some other leading names.
Contrary to negative messages on the internet, installation went smooth as instructions were easy to follow. Taking our time (2) we did it within 5 hours inclusing the vent pipe/duct through the roof.
Maybe a little noisy on the highest speed, but lots better then the smell throughout the house.
