Rated 4 out of 5 by prepper stove I live in the country. We have reliable electricity but we live near the south Gulf coast and are prone to hurricanes. This stove, including the oven, use a pilot light. It is hooked up to the 250 gallon propane tank for the house. It will work no matter what. It came natural gas ready and had to be converted to L P G. the broiler is kind of funkey. No drawer or rack. But it is usable. This is the only stove I could find that did not have to be plugged in to work in fact it has no electrical plug at all. 1/27/12
