Rated 5 out of 5 by Jharp Great Alternative
We have a big family and need a lot of fridge room. This was a better priced alternative to using up all of the space and funds needed for a subzero. The trade off is that the samsung must stick out from the counter. I was able to get past this for th price difference. We love it.

Two Notes: 1) The doors must be removed to enter a standard 36" front door. Samsung made it very easy, but the instructions are a little sketchy. Remove the plastic cover on top of fridge; 3 screws. Unplug electrical and set aside. Squeeze the latch on large electrical plug (wrapped in plastic cover) and pull two sides apart. Do not remove screws on hinges on top of fridge...Just lift the metal lever holding a door and it will release the door...be sure to hold onto door. Lift and set aside doors. For freezer door it took us awhile to find where to push to release the rail; it is in the middle of the rail INSIDE the freezer compartment. When reinstalling remember to connect the wire on the plastic cover or you will get an intermittent 'door open' alarm.
2) Noise: Some have commented on loudness. The only 2 times ours was humming loudly was when we had it on Power Freeze (great feature) and is very quiet in normal mode. And once it hummed a little like a vibration. Opened and shut the door and it stopped. It is as quiet as the 9 yr old top of the line fridge we replaced.
As others have noted this fridge is beautiful inside and out. Freezer is massive and easy to store items with deep lower basket, sliding upper tray, and small bin that runs along the inside of the door. Samsungs easy lift handle has two pins that push against frame to make opening freezer super easy. I have the minimum clearance measurement in their description and thought it would be very tight because the freezer door opens toward my island...no problem at all.
The fridge is well lit and the two drawers open with only one outside door opened. The larger drawer below requires both doors open; it is super nice because you can easily see what is in the drawer, some without even opening the drawer. Storage is very flexible with the flip up shelves, roomy door bins and other features.
This was my second fridge purchased from AJ Madison within the last year. Both times they were super easy to deal with and fridges delivered on time. Using this one since 12-21-12.

Rated 5 out of 5 by coldilocks Very solid fridge, epic in size
I really like this Fridge. It is very lagre, easy to access everything, and well lit. I have stocked it poorly organized and it still fits 2 times what my old side by side one did. I have a baby, so when sleeping, the second ice drawer in the freezer is nice to grab ice from and not make noise. Though the cubes are the common moon shape, the top ice maker makes smaller ones, so they don't sit on the rim of the glass and cause a dam when drinking. Not sure if that ever irritates anyone else.
One thing you should know is that you have to close the door to this fridge yourself because of the seal between the 2 doors. Meaning, it does not self close like other fridges.
I have also NOT noticed it being particularly loud. I noticed that in a review or 2 before I purchased.
Also, the water flow rate on the water dispenser is good. You don't have to stand there for 3 minutes to fill a glass.
