Rated 5 out of 5 by is this thing on? this hood is amazing. i still find myself walking over to the stove to make sure it's working! as a novice "do it yourselfer" (at least for this type of project), the only part of the instructions that were confusing were "remove the knockouts". took me a while to figure out that they were *supposed* to be twisted out using pliers & a screwdriver. BE SURE TO TAP DOWN THE SHARP EDGES left by removing the knockouts. 5/18/10
Rated 3 out of 5 just ok The hood is not quiet at all on the hi setting. It looks decent and does an ok job but certainly not a high end product. On close inspection, its obvious that it is cheaply made. There was a small dent on the side and the welding on the front did not hold so it wasn't tightly connected on that side. 1/18/10
