Replaced a white range with stainless steel and had to coordinate the range hood, so we weren't shopping specifically for a hood, but are very pleased with the Broan hood. The full power is impressive and not too noisy for the amount of air it moves. The lights (3 levels) brighten the entire cooking surface so well I wonder how I cooked for so many years with poor light. Very easy to clean the surface and control pad. The large filters are well positioned, efficient and easy to keep clean.

I absolutely love my Broan 30" Standard Range Hood QS330. I studied range hoods on line for about 3 months in order to familiarize myself with any and all info. I wanted enough boost to gave the heat to be exhausted outside, not loud while running and easy to maintain. I got everything and more with this range hood. The lighting is also excellent. Also, the electrician who installed the outside vent and the range hood was so taken with it that he wants to order one just like it for himself. Thanks so much, Broan

Have used vent fans over 40 years. This is a very powerful unit and definitely gets rid of the odors and heat.

I bought this vent hood for my new house. I wanted one that was quiet and would move a lot of air when needed.
The First two fan speed settings are very quiet. The third is about as loud as other cheaper vent hoods and the last speed makes a lot of noise, but moves a lot of air.
A bonus is the delay shutdown setting. When you are done cooking, push it to have it shut down after a few minuts to remove any remaining heat and fumes.
The lighting is great, after I found the right bulbs for it.
The light has two settings. The lower setting is about as bright as a cheaper hood, but the higher setting really lights up the cooking area.
