hood prices seem to be based on motor/fan loudness. this one spins up slowly, sort of breaking it to you gently. In my opinion it is a great value, has clean, elegant lines and is sculpted for easy cleaning.

I am so pleased with this range hood. i have remodeled my kitchen and was worried that it might look thin and cheap. Quite the contrary.
We were just saying how quiet it is.
It was simple to install, and the lights are so bright and white. We love it.
It got here so fast too. oh and the sale price I got was remarkable. thanks

This was largely a finishing, more than practical, measure. My kitchen was without hood and I'm about to put my place on the market. To that end, it looks great. The lights are very nice. I gave it a 4-star performance rating because the exhaust fan could be a little more powerful. The low setting seems kind of useless. (Note that I have a non-ducted installation.)

AJ Madison was great! They shipped very well, record time and well packaged.
I love the Broan Hood Range, it is exactly as described. It looks great and works wonderfully. I love the bright halogen dual lights. Cooking is much more enjoyable having this addition to my kitchen.
