Purchase was simple and the price the best we found. What impressed us most, however, was the online tracking, the notification of delivery, the 30-min. call before the crew's arrival, their care and cheerful placement of our new refrigerator in the kitchen. We could not have expected more from a local dealer. Shipping takes time. If you need a new fridge in two days, this system will not work for you. Very happy with our new GE.

I hate it. Poor design, air tight, the freezer door pops open when you close the refrigerator, because the air flows from refrig through vent in back up to freezer. GE came three-four times when I first bought it, and can't do anything about it. They act like mine is the only one that does it, but if you search online you'll see it's common. I have to defrost every 4 months, because the ice builds up in the back of freezer and the fan starts to make a loud noice. I keep tape on the freezer so it won't open. It's tilted back, but it still pops open. Don't buy it.

If you don't have room for a side by side or french door, this is a good upscale choice. The freezer is to big and you do have to get on your knees to access, but it works well, nice pull out glass shelves. There is a lot of space on the doors, more useable space than any other refrig that I have owned. Once you get over the cost, you appreciate it.

Rated 2 out of 5 Poorly designed/bad value
Although I'm single, I purchased the 21.7 cu ft refrigerator to fit the space and provide more storage hoping it would provide more storage than I would ever need, or if I should sell my property to a family. This refrigerator really doesn't have much room at all. It's too deep and not tall enough. One has to get on his knees to get anything ioff the top shelf or the back of the frig. The door shelves are too crowded. It's difficult to get most commonly used things in them. I had to remove two shelves in main compartment just to get a 2 quart picture of tea in it. The freezer is too big, it's too tall, it takes up too much valuable refrig space and forces everyday items to be too low. When I shop, I probably purchase about 1/4 that of a normal household, and, this refrigerator is just too small by design. I expected more from the GE 'Profile' series.
