This unit is so noisy that I can't sleep. I am a very sound sleeper and this unit wakes me out of a deep sleep. You can hear this unit in every room of the house, basement, and clear out in the backyard.

We added a sun room and we were told that this would be the solution to our heating and cooling of this room. the unit works but you can't hear yourself think when its running. It's very loud.

This is one of the best things I ever purchased as far as AC units. I will purchase another one for my new house and not have central heat and air at all. No duck work to mess with and much more effeciant to operate. I love it. JEarl in Hillsboro, TX

I built a 600 sq. ft. metal building that is used as a "man-cave". Was quoted a "great deal" from local HVAC company @ $2500 installed but I was responsible for framing the hole for the insert. Saved $1500 by buying online and installing myself since I was responsible for the hard part anyway. Haven't really had the opportunity to put the unit to the test but what little I've used it, it seems to work very well.
