Description
When and oven looks this good everyone wants to see what's cooking.

It looks like your signature roast is almost ready. Of course, you didn't need to check the timer to know that. You just have to watch your husband inch closer and closer to the oven. His nose is perfectly set to medium well. It's always a race between him and Angel to see who gets the first bite. You can't blame either one of them. It's hard to resist peeking inside your new favorite appliance. The GE Profile wall oven lets you create classic meals while it complements your modern decor. Now you have an oven that looks as great as it cooks. And your husband and your pampered pet obviously agree!

Glass touch controls replace knobs and buttons with a single, sleek console what wipes clean. Plus, a black gloss oven interior provides a clean look and adds a bold touch to the kitchen.

The PreciseAir convection system uses a reversing fan surrounded by a 2,500-watt element that circulates warm air for evenly browned and baked foods.

A hidden bake oven interior conceals the lower oven element to eliminate hard-to-reach areas that collect food. And a heavy-duty roller rack provides easy access to items inside the oven by simplifying loading and unloading.

Product Reviews
Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ge Double Convection Oven We just remodeled our kitchen and replaced our 1960's double oven with the the GEPT985 stainless steel. This is such a gorgeous wall oven, every one comments on the looks. As far as actual cooking, the ovens preheat fast, and the convection baking is just great! Cooked two 5 lbs whole chickens in just over an hour (used the built in temp probe) and the roasted potatoes were just wonderful. I wish that I had purchased a convection oven years ago. AJ Madison shipping was fast and the oven arrived well packed with no damage. 8/8/11
Rated 5 out of 5 Unbelievable Double Oven Amazing Appliance - durable and worth it. This is a convection oven - heats everything evenly - worth the extra money. You definitely get what you pay for and more. 4/16/12
Rated 1 out of 5 by Piece of junk Bought a GE Monogram in '98 during kitchen renovation - it was awful - when set at 350 deg., it would cycle between 320 and 385, averaging 350 over long cook cycles, but cooking very unevenly for short bake cycles like cookies. GE claimed this was "within spec". When I needed a new oven this year, I check with GE re the specs on the Profile, and was assured that the new "true temp" kept the oven within a few degrees of the target temp. After it arrived, I tested it immediately, and found it had the same wide variations at some temps, and was also "on temp" (average) at 350, but hot by +35 deg when set at 500 (which I use to bake bread and cook pizza). GE offered to "recalibrate" the oven by lowering ALL temps by -35 degs, making temps right at 500, but low by some significant amount at all lower temps. RIDICULOUS. After owning for one month, I've had 3 "useless" service calls, and a 4th is scheduled... Buy a different (NON-GE) product! 8/19/13
