Rated 5 out of 5 Awesome Frig!!
For those of you who want a built in frig - and need large capacity this is a great choice!! Most frig's are 36" and when you move to a built-in you usually sacrifice space for look. For families - this is the best of both worlds. We went from a 36" standard to the 42" and are extremely happy. Plenty of storage in both the freezer and frig part. Looks fantastic and works even better. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this appliance!!

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Elise105 Unreliable
I purchased this model because my kitchen designer limited my options for a built-in by assuming I was going with a high-end Viking or Sub-Zero. Not wanted to spend $10K or more, I opted for this GE Profile, which got better reviews that the GE Monogram. I have been very displeased with this purchase. The doors are VERY difficult to open on both the refrigerator and the freezer. GE told me that once the doors had food in them, they would be fine....? They're not fine. Then, after six months of use, both the refrigerator and freezer just stopped working. Finally, for a 42", it's got a very small interior. I understand that counter depth refrigerators have less room, but this is small. I suggest that anyone considering this refrigerator really consider the cost, reliability and size before purchasing this model. It's just not worth the money.

Rated 2 out of 5 Impossible to open the doors
The door is so tight that my wife cannot open it without incurring severe pain in her shoulder.
The technician who came to check it said it is the magnet that is causing the problem and that there is nothing he can do for it.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Oldie Good but check product over
This is definitely a great way to purchase appliances - much cheaper than purchasing locally. Our only problem was that we did not remove the protective plastic before accepting delivery - the top panel has a dent in it that wasn't apparent with the protective plastic still in place. Now we will have to purchase another top panel. Should have inspected better, but needed the fridge and wouldn't have had the option to send it back. Phone rep was knowledgeable and very helpful.
