Installation went great until it was time to install the filter screen/cover. Would not latch on one side. Had to modify to get it to catch properly.

This exhaust fan has plenty of power for removing steam etc from the stove. The light switch should have 2 choices, dim/brite. Overall. I would recommend this unit for over the stove exhausting. Broan is always reliable for excellent products. As a contractor, I always recommend Broan.

Installation drawings and instructions were excellent and it has features of many higher priced units costing much more. I built a wood enclosure and was able to size it to fit perfectly with the drawings provided.
I would recommend this unit to anyone that wants high quality unit for reasonable price.

Considering the price of this fan, it's a great buy. It's super quiet and does a great job exhausting but leaves a little to be desired in the lighting department. It only has two candlelibra 40 w bulbs which does a minimal job lighting up the area. It's too bad it doesn't use halgen bulbs.
