Why Kitchens Need Ventilation.

Fresh salmon fillets are reason enough. But that's really just a start. Because cooking smoke and greasy build-up are more than unpleasant. They're unhealthy. In fact, cooking churns out airborne contaminants like nothing else in the home can. This concentration of contaminants requires effective ventilation. That's where Broan comes in. As the residential ventilation leader, Broan offers more range hood kitchen ventilating solutions than anyone.

From high-performance ducted models, to the most effective non-ducted units ever made. And they're all built to Broan's demanding quality standards.

So you can count on them to help keep your kitchen cleaner for years to come. Built-in lighting means you can count on your Broan range hood to keep your kitchen brighter. Some units even include a convenient nightlight feature.

There really is a difference with Broan. It's in the details.

High-Performance ventilation solutions.
These integrated units provide the ventilation and lighting you need for your custom application.

Flush-fitting integrated power packs and liners provide modern style, ventilation, dual 40 watt lighting (bulbs sold separately) and protection for custom cabinet and hood applications. The PM250 has a 250 CFM two-speed fan with rocker switch control.

Product Reviews
Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 23 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5 by lookes good but... I put this in my new kitchen when I remodeled because it stated it could be ventless. My contractor and electrician both said it had to be vented to work right so I ended up buying a vent kit from [...]to make it work and cutting a hole in the atic. It looks great and I am really happy now but there was a time when I was not. If you want ventless I would use something else. 9/5/08
Rated 4 out of 5 by Broan PM Series PM250 I bought the Broan PM250 Power Module to power the new custom range hood I built as a part of my kitchen remodel. [...] The unit was in the box packed by the original manufacturer and well-protected from damage. It's a very well-built and compact unit, with what looks like a pretty durable finish. On opening the box I found the fan-blade had been cracked in manufacture, but a quick call to the manufacturer per warranty instructions got me a new fan motor and blade assembly (simple to replace) in just a couple of days. I am very well pleased and would buy from this company and manufacturer again. 6/1/08
Rated 3 out of 5 by Works fine but delivery was very slow. This is a low powered exhaust fan but is more than sufficient for most home use. There are many priced higher in this cataegory but they all cost to much to be inserted in an exhaust frame. Easy to install for a professional. 5/21/08
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very pleased with my purcase The fan motor is quiet in both high and low position. The lighting is extremely good. Infact, I am going to replace the 40 watt bulbs with 20 watt bulbs. 2/24/08
