Very quiet.
Washes everything cleanly. We blamed hard water for very poor cleaning by previous DW (Kenmore).
Hard water is not a problem for this DW. No hard water stains on glass after drying (I don't use any rinse agents)
A few design decision I don't like in this DW:
1. Top position of DW controls. With regular conuntertop height you may end up with too narrow space to access them. Front controls would be more universal option.
2. Prewash detergent bin too small fro standard detergent pack

I have had dishwashers for over 50 years. This is by far the worst I have ever owned. Biggest problem: dishes often come out dirtier than when placed inside. I have to request a longer and costlier cycle to get them acceptably clean. The inside construction is cheap. The coated tines have rusted through. The utensil holder is broken on bottom letting silverware drop down. Originally, there was a dangerous short in the door panel that required repair. The soap dispenser measures inaccurately and discharges soap way too quickly. If you like washing dishes first, this product is for you - but then you wouldn't need to buy a dishwasher. Very poor product. Don't buy.

We've owned several dishwashers and this one is inferior. Even on the deep clean cycle it fails to clean every dish. The smart dispenser is a nice feature and works well. Bosch is more expensive but it definitely cleans better.

Nice features. Okay quiet. Good amount of space. Utensil holders are not the greatest for long or odd shaped items.
