We bought this model because our last d/w, only a few years old, was a GE profile which was damaged during a reno. It was quite noisy but cleaned very well, held an incredible amount of dishes and the tines were designed so that you could securely fit small bowls, etc, in empty spaces. The quality of this new one is disappointing. The specs says it holds 16 place settings - maybe fairy dishes. I can't get two rows of standard size dinner plates in it and there is always so much empty space that can't be utilized because there are so few tines for support. It gets off the heavy stuff but not always fingerprints or lipstick smudges. There is always fine debris left in the bottom after a wash, which indicates that the final rinse is not that clean. Of course, when I bought it, this model wasn't displayed in the store, so you have to go by what the specs tell you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by allipix Fits 33 5/8 yet full sized interior!
After installing new countertops, and new hardwood floors, we realized a standard 34 inch dishwasher would no longer fit. I search all over the internet for advice for a full-sized Tall tub dishwasher that would still fit. I was unwilling to give up depth or rack size (btw beware, rack sizes have shrunk in many full sized models???), and found no help in the threads I found. I knew that if I was ever successful I would post about what I found to help the many others in my place. After measuring we discovered we only had 33 5/8 to work with. Specs on washers online are useless and not exact; you MUST see the dishwasher and measure all sides to discover its true min/max height. We finally found an LG that fit, but with HORRIBLE reviews, and were unwilling to try it. Instead we have gone with a GE Profile: PDWT280VSS GE Profile Built in Dishwasher with Hidden Controls. It is so new that it currently (9/20/11) has zero reviews. It arrived yesterday and it fits our space without removing the feet! It’s gorgeous, and after one load we are very happy. Quite enough that you can hear over it no problem, quieter models just don’t fit. I’ll update if we have any problems with it.
