I just noticed a couple of very very small bubbles in a small area of the cooktop. I don't think it will make a hill of beans difference nor do I know if it’s in all the cooktops... Rated 4 out of 5 by Nothing extrodinairy. It's just a range. It works flawless as you would expect. Love the oven. I installed this myself and if I have a complaint is that since it's a drop in, the power conduit should have come off the back bottom of the oven and not from the top back. Dumb engineering since there is very little room to hook the range up and the conduit rubs the back wall on standard island installs. I suppose I could easily have got some longer wire and conduit and redo the whole thing but I'm guessing it would have voided the warranty. 8/27/10
