Fisher & Paykel Appliances designs, manufactures and markets a range of innovative household appliances developed with a commitment to technology, design, user friendliness and environmental awareness. On June 15th, 2006 Fisher & Paykel Appliances Holdings Limited announced that it has agreed to acquire the European cookware business Elba S.p.A from De'Longhi S.p.A for a purchase price of EUR78 million. The acquisition provides a more comprehensive range of kitchen products for distribution through the United States. The existing models have been completely restyled cosmetically to fit with the Fisher & Paykel brand and complement the current DCS range of products giving the customer a choice of styles.
This freestanding range combines the convenience of an extra large gas oven with the control and precision of an integrated five burner gas cooktop. A fresh, clean look reflects the latest design philosophies from Europe, featuring refined control knobs and easy to follow icons on a simple designer control panel.
It includes a range of gas burner sizes and powers for greater convenience and flexibility. Large, small and medium burners will suit any cooking style, from a fast stir-fry to a slow simmer.

BAM Solid
Have only been using it a month as I finish a kitchen remodel, so it might be a bit premature to do a review, but I can go over that period, at least.
Overall, the design seems solid. Nothing flimsy or questionable.
There is obviously a transition from electric to gas, and so far, I'm still adjusting, but so far, so good.
I found it notable I could do Sunday morning breakfast the same on low heat on this stove, as medium on my electric.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE having the room to have a lot going on all at once on this larger than average top. Four large plans blazing is something I've never had in a 30-inch cooktop.
Cleanup is obviously going to be more labor intensive, as the grills must be removed, but that's pretty obvious from the get go.
If I could want for anything, it would be for a more informative display that included oven temperature. Kind of some guesswork going on with the current setup. Paid $2,400 shipped and the guys at Appliance Warehouse were impressed I got this name brand for such a price. Obviously made me feel more confident about my purchase.
