Rated 5 out of 5 by So glad I changed from gas to induction First I love my new induction cooktop. Second I am so glad I got a Bosch. I have enjoyed cooking again. The Bosch works so well and is quality. I bought a set of Berndes induction stainless steel pans and am glad I finally did. Induction works best with a flat bottom that is aluminum sandwiched between stainless steel. It took me a lot of testing and trying different pans to come to this conclusion. Bosch also recommends these pans and I know why now. They work very well with the hobs sizes and you can cook at a lower temp. 11/26/12
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Purchase Firstly we wanted gas but our house was not "piped" for a gas cooktop. This seemed a reasonable compromise. However knowing what I know now - i would go for this over a a gas cooktop in the future. We love to cook but have small kids and this definitely has safety written all over it. Make sure your house is wired to deliver the required amperage before purchasing if you are in for a remodel. Most houses will be wired appropriately but it is worth the investment to have an electrician (hopefully the same as the one doing the install) bless your wiring. As to AJ Madison... We ordered he cooktop. It came on time and in great shape. they called in advance of delivery so someone could be home. It was painless. Looking forward to many great hours of cooking intimate dinners!!! 2/15/12
