Rated 5 out of 5 by Sue chef A thing of beauty The Bosch NET8654UC cooktop was purchased to replace a 5-burner gas cooktop, which was such a pain to clean with arthritic hands, it went dirty most of the time. The Bosch is the sleekest, easiest to clean unit on the market. No knobs to clean around! After using gas, I have to admit the electric is slower heating up, but it has great, even heat when cooking temperature is reached. I put off this review until I received the free sensor frying pan so I could try the Auto Chef feature. It is pretty amazing. You just select a cooking range for the item (porkchops in this case) and let the sensors keep the temperature at a perfect setting until the chops are done. All you have to do is turn them over. The electronic display just above the control strip is well thought-out and easy to read, and you don't have to reach across hot pans to get to any function. The Bosch is expensive, but the features can't be beat. If any problems show up over time, I will update this review. 2/1/13
