Rated 4 out of 5 by Cooker in Crosby Much better than the coil we had I bought this to replace a builder quality coil cooktop that we had since we bought the house. That one turned off in the middle of cooking without warning, so the new one would have to be pretty bad to not make it a step up. This is night and day better. It is easy to control the temp to keep boilovers to a minimum and just the simple fact that it worked every time we turned it on was great. My only complaint is that it is too easy to change the temp of one buner when trying to change a different one. 3/3/12
