Description
The First Family of Kitchen Appliances
Cooking is an important part of family tradition at Dacor. In 1933, Stan Joseph opened a small appliance store in Northern California. Supported by his devoted wife Florence, his innovative thinking led to the invention of the first complete kitchen ventilation system and the first indoor electric barbecue. In 1965, Stan and Florence Joseph founded Dacor and were later joined by their two sons, Michael and Anthony.

Working together to redefine the modern kitchen, the Dacor family has produced an impressive array of industry firsts. Patented features abound throughout their full line of cooking appliances. Features like an infrared gas broiler inside an electric oven, a Pure Convection system for even heat distribution, a Butterfly Bake Element for an extraordinary traditional bake, and extra-large Dacor Greats that simplify cooking with large pots and pans.

Following in the footsteps of the Stan Joseph tradition, they are true pioneers. Their flair for innovation is evident in everything they create, from their top-of-the-line Epicure 48" Range to the industry's first outdoor grill with built-in halogen lights. And, their product line will only continue to grow.

Renaissance 30" Single Wall Oven
The new Millenia Renaissance Wall Oven is a brand new interpretation of a classic. Same timeless design, but now with even more advanced features inside. Having a dinner party? Cook everything at once, from snapper to cherry pie. All your flavors will stay right where they're supposed to, thanks to the innovative convection filter that circulates heat. There's even a meat probe for perfectly cooked turkey every time.

Product Reviews
Rated 1.7 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Oven Light flashes DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE OVENS. PURE JUNK. For example, after a short time the oven lights start flashing rapidly and will not stop. The way to cure the symptom is shut the oven off at the breaker. NOW REALLY!! Is this what you want or the performance you would expect? eventually the bulbs burn out, only $25 to $40 to replace. Do some research on line, there are lots of horror stories about this oven. Dacor Appliances Create Only Regrets. 6/7/12
Rated 2 out of 5 by Beautiful to look at buy buyer beware Remodeled our kitchen in 2006; 5 years later and we've spent at least $1,500 on repairs; two circuit boards, at least three other repair visits to reset something that required taking the door off and pulling away from the wall. Never again. Would not recommend and we are very disappointed in Dacor's service dept. 3/16/12
Rated 1 out of 5 by Save your money We decided to go high end when we remodeled our kitchen. We bought the Dacor over MORS130, a Dacor five burner cook top, and Dacor EVR/PRV downdraft. Thank goodness the salesman talked out out of the microwave. So the first to go was the rising downdraft. The heat from the gas burners melted the gasket that seals the unit when it rises so air flow is through the cleanable grills vice other unitended directions. Next we have one gas burner that we don't use because it starter keeps clicking on and off after the burner is lit. Also on the cooktop, one of the pretty blue lights on the control knobs quit working - but of course, it's meant to last forever, so replacement is not easily achieved without removing the cooktop entirely from the counter to get at the parts. As for the over, well, at about the same time, one of the horizontal lines in one of the characters of the clock stopped working, so the time/temperature often look odd or evern incorrect e.g. 7 look like a 1. Lastly, after baking, we get a U41 code, that eventually clears, but until then, the oven can't be used. My research tells me this means we have a bad circuit board. Tonight was the final staw. We came hame tonight after previously baking, and the oven was beeping and flasing U41 and the self clean function back and forth. The thing was possessed. Don't waste your money. 2/24/12
Rated 2 out of 5 by Bad performer Have a single wall Preference Model from 2001. Only the convection setting worked well. Broil, Bake, temperatures were always inconsistent with controls and the oven has broken down twice since 2001 and had to be repaired. We are finaly giving up on it and replacing it. We are very dissappointed with the Dacor Brand. 11/25/11
