Rated 3 out of 5 by Maddy77 Don't always get what you pay for.
Very sturdy and built great. Does not rinse clothes very well unless set to do a second rinse. Smaller clothes like socks and underwear get caught up where the water drains towards front of machine, so then you have a socks per say that is still soaking wet. It's pretty loud during cycles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Retarded71 great, affordable, efficient, easy to use, attractive, appears quality.
After our agitator/dryer vertical combo failed I had to find a replacement. The prices were scary! I found this machine, with matching dryer selling for almost half of what I had been looking at. Were it not for the Maytag brand, I would have never purchased them.... too cheap!
After installation we put them to work. First thought was 'big mistake' when the washer started and it appeared there was no water in it. But as it began rotating, the clothes were somehow getting wet? The cycle took about the same time as the old machine. At the end ot the load, which took very little soap and a fraction of the water my old machine used. I was amazed that the clothes were so dry I could have put them on ane worn them!
Into the dryer set on 'Sensor Dry' and they were done in a quarter the time of the old dryer!
I had never had my clothes come out this soft and CLEAN!
When I think of the savings of water and electricity, we could do 4-6 loads for the same cost of one in our older machine!
Ran several loads in 3 months and . No problems. Only hope I don't have to wake-up the Maytag Man one of these days ;o)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pat19 Like all features BUT
The rubber gasket around the door of the washer is a problem for me. Underwear or small items will get caught in it and then they have to be rewashed or wrung out because they are either sopping wet or full of soap because they get caught in the gasket. When I wash throw rugs the spin doesn't always work properly, sometimes they spin out and sometimes they don't. Very aggravating.
