$350.00 Cash Rebate If you are a resident of New York State and essential appliances or equipment were lost or damaged because of Hurricane Irene or Tropical Storm Lee, you may qualify for cash rebates by purchasing eligible ENERGY STAR or High Efficiency appliances or equipment. The New York Storm Relief Rebate Program is providing this assistance exclusively for New York State residents that are not receiving compensation from FEMA or insurance companies for these appliances or equipment. The following products are eligible under this rebate program: Compact refrigerators (refrigerators which measure less than 7.75 cubic feet) are not eligible under this rebate program. •   Refrigerators - $350 •   Clothes Washers - $250 •   Clothes Dryers - $250 •   Dehumidifiers - $100 Only appliances and equipment that replace those damaged in the storms are eligible for rebates (with the exception of dehumidifiers that can either replace a damaged dehumidifier or have been purchased to reduce humidity resulting from the storm).
