Worked until the warranty ran out, now I am waiting for a repair man to fix the problem. This unit is a little over a year old. I purchased a Maytag to dependability and reliability. I also paid very good money for this unit only to have it break once the warranty ran out.

We purchased this dishwasher in September of 2009 and declined the extended warranty because we believed the bored Maytag repairman commercial. Within six months we had to place our first service call. The technician who came out told us that the control board on these machines goes out frequently and that it was a good thing that it was under warranty because of the cost. Today the replaced control panel went out again. I called Maytag and the repair costs both with an extended warranty option and without were more then replacing the unit at the price that I paid for it to begin with. Apparently when the control panel goes out, and we've gone through 2 of them now, the part is almost more expensive than the entire machine.
When it does work, the machine is quiet and efficient.

We bought this in the bisque color during a kitchen remodel. I like the tiered top rack that holds different height glasses and the utensil rack on the side so I have more room for pans in the lower rack.

We moved from a house where we had a Bosch dishwasher. We were worried that it could be matched, but this washer gives Bosch a run for its money for its ability to produce spotless dishes and with its quietness. Great product in an affordable price range.
