What's Inside Matters
For over 100 years, you've heard a lot about their drum rollers and drawer gaskets, their belts and hinges - the commercial grade parts they put inside their appliances. Those parts matter. They make their machines among the most dependable washers, ranges and refrigerators around. Available at AJ Madison.
But they realize you don't serve gaskets at your dinner parties. And that you've probably never fluffed and folded a roller. They know that dependability means something a little more to you than just parts and pieces.
It means having cold champagne to pop when the clock strikes midnight. Having virtually spotless glasses when your friends drop in. And cutting into a perfectly baked cake on your daughter's 10th birthday. It means having all the stuff you depend on clean, cold and cooked - on time, every time.
The way they put their machines together is never going to change. But they understand that the reason you depend on them is not only because of what they put inside them, but also because of what you put inside them.
They get it. What's Inside Matters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dandy this product really cleans well
the dishwasher has ample room and design, but I really like how well it cleans. Everything we have washed so far has come out spotless. Would recommend it to anyone.

I don't have any complaints about this dishwasher, it seems to be really well made. One suggestion, the selection lights on the front are really small and the print is not lit up so it's really hard to see.

Rated 3 out of 5 by busypat Not as good as the old Maytag
I purchased this dishwasher (MDB4709PAW) last week. It was to replace my old Maytag which was almost 14 years old. The sound level is about the same as the old one, fairly quiet. The capacity seems smaller, maybe because of the big cutlery holder. I took it out and put in my old one which is half the size, which gives me more room for pans in the lower rack. The upper rack is very close to the top and will not hold a stem glass nor a regular cereal bowl without the top sprayer hitting it. The user manual says the upper rack holds a 9" plate which is totally incorrect. I am not very happy with the machine for this reason, the racks seem to hold less than my old dishwasher and the upper rack will only hold very small items. This so called energy saver takes 1-1/2 hours to do a normal load. My old machine took 45 minutes. If you use the heated dry feature, it takes a lot longer so I do not use it. I found that if I open the door a little, after the clean light comes on, the dishes dry with the heat left in the dishwasher much faster

Rated 5 out of 5 by Carlie Excellent Value does what it is supposed to do.
We have hard (very hard) water and can not install a water
conditioner. We have to replace dishwashers about every
three or four years. This is the best we have had so far.
Perhaps I am old fashioned but dishwashers should wash dishes
This one does.
