We purchased this refrigerator in July because our old one had a failing compressor. It always ran very hot which didn't help us during this unusually hot summer.
Not only does the Maytag run cooler, but I can't hear the motor at all!
I know that I will save substantially on my energy costs and it looks great too!

Unfortunately it was the only frige available in the area that would fit in the space of our previous refrigerator. It was not the features I wanted. It comes with an ice maker which we didn't need so takes up freezer space. It is very loud. It tends to sound like a grumbling stomach most of the time. I like the door shelves but time will tell if the door holds up to the weight. Out last one did not. It is 3 inches deeper than our last frige, so sticks out more in the designated area. We tend not to use the back of each shelf because you can't see what's back that far.

We like the fact that we can see almost everything in the refrigerator. The freezer needs front vents.

We bought this refrigerator as a second refrigerator to replace a 14 year old unit. We have found that we are using this one as the primary, even though it is not in the kitchen.
The layout of the refrigerator is great for what we use it for. In Lake Havasu, it gets hot, so we drink lots of water. We keep cases of water in the refrigerator with no problems. Because of the flexibility of shelf layout, we can still keep some other fairly large items in this unit.
