I purchased this product new. It arrived. I opened the box and read the manual. I was very excited to try this vacuum. Here are the pros and cons in my opinion...
Pros:
1. Good reviews on consumer reports?
Cons:
1. squirrely steering
2. Attachments seemed cheaply made
3. 2 of the attachments did not have a spot to store on the machine
4. The wand did not reach to the top of my standard staircase. Therefore I could not put the machine at the bottom and clean my stairs with the wand. It was 3 stairs short.
5. The back left wheel locked up 3 times in my 10 minute trial. When the wheel locked up it rendered the vacuum unusable. No where in the book it mentioned this. I called customer support and their solution was for me to mail the vacuum to them and they would look at it. I just bought this machine NEW and used it for 10 minutes and simply wanted a replacement / an even exchange. No luck. Luckily the store I bought it from let me return it. I will not be repurchasing this one.

I have german shepard and cat and this vaccum is great . This vaccum has a lot of power and the tools are awesome. Only complaint is that you can't put all the attachment on sweeper. It is a little on the heavy side but its worth the cleaning power! Great sweeper for the money!

Although I had to wait an exceedingly long time due to back orders, the wait was worth it. I replaced a Dyson vacuum, due to broken plastic parts, with this vacuum. The ease of use and the performance of the new LG is far superior to the Dyson. Plan on talking my mother into purchasing a new LG.
