Short of a major overhaul of my existing kitchen cabinets, I had a relatively small area available for my new refrigerator. This LG product fits in easily. It keeps the food reliably cold at its default settings. The freezer section is spacious and easily accessible. The refrigerator section has a few problems in my opinion. First, the LED lighting is lame, and doesn't provide enough illumination. I am accustomed to the old 40W incandescent bulbs, and I knew the LED lighting would be weaker, but I didn't realize how much weaker. They really need to double the number of LED bulbs. Additionally, with a refrigerator this small, I now realize that the double French doors are not such a good idea. When only one side is opened, you have a pretty small window to reach through in order to retrieve an item. I usually end up opening both doors so I can get in and move around. Also, although the unit comes with three levels of shelving, I removed one, because there is not enough height to hold taller items on any of the shelves if they are all in place. While the unit functions properly, I would likely not purchase it again.

A lot quieter than our old 2001 refrigerator. No split shelf is a bit of a challenge, but not impossible.Very good lighting. When French doors are wide open, perpendicular to the front of the fridge width increases by 1 inch, to 31 inches. This could be a concern if space is too tight. Very helpful to have fridge opening at eye level and freezer below! It is easier to put groceries away than the old fridge. Door handles are very comfortable.

I compared this with the previous model which had split shelves so you can change the amount of space for tall things. I would have preferred the previous model, as this model has 3 continuous shelves with no breaks. Also the veggie drawers are smaller because of an added thin drawer at the bottom- i would have preferred two larger drawers instead.
other than that, it does make a bit of sound (like its thinking) but I love it anyway.

I find that shelves that go all across doesn't allow more space. To place it so I can stand tall items reduces space. Maybe half shelves would allow me to have tall items and still give me two othe regular storage. Also too many drawers. Eliminate one drawer for more shelve space
