We did not want to re-do our 1936 tile counter tops, but wanted a dishwaher to fit beneath the counter's lower-than-standard height. Only two options of a full size dishwasher less than 33". Fagor has lived up to it's reviews in quietness and cleaning. It looks great (Stainless).

We bought this dishwasher in Oct 2010. 1 1/2 years later it starts leaking water all over the floors. We had a repairman come out 3 times to service. We replaced parts. We spent hours on the phone with Fagor's technical team. None of the fixes worked. Fagor will not replace the dishwasher.
Absolutely horrible. It is a total lemon.

Do NOT buy this if you are looking for a normal usage. I am baffled by how poorly the design this unit is unless it's meant for a custom made low cabinets. You can not fit plates on the lower rack & fit wine glasses or taller glasses on top rack! We just put in a standard Ikea kitchen & this unit will have a 3 inch gap to the counter top and almost 3 inches from the top of the door to the top of the panel door.
Fuming over spending $800 for an unusable dishwasher!

I remodeled my kitchen and every appliance I bought was Fagor. I was turned on the Fagor by my designer. I am so glad I listened. FAGOR is wonderful! This thing cleans! It is quieter then my old Bosch. It is easy to load. It is easy to use. I am very happy with it. I also got a rebate back from PG and E which is the electric company here in Santa Cruz.
