Rated 5 out of 5 by Induction cooking is tops We've had our LG Induction cooktop for about a month now. Induction cooking is all that is advertised. Very fast, good control, cool cooking surfaces. We now routinely use a paper towel underneath lidded pots that "leak" over. Everyone is amazed that can be done. The accessory long pan for use with the "bridge" feature is very handy for breakfasts and 2-3 steaks at once. 9/20/12
Rated 5 out of 5 Induction Rocks This cooktop has shallow depth, and unlike some other similar cooktops, since its cooling air exhaust is out narrow slots in the back, it does not need much air space below. This cooktop is installed just above a cutlery drawer, and I can confirm that the spoons and forks remain cool. Installation was easy, the included electrical conduit cord is generously long. The induction cooking works as advertised, water boils amazingly fast, and temperature adjustments happen quickly. The cooktop is quiet during operation, but not silent. The touch controls are well thought out, and once understood operate predictably. The included stainless griddle is surprisingly elegant and works well. 5/26/10
