If it's true that you get what you pay for, then with this Miele Wine Storage unit that adage holds true. This is in actuality a refrigerator that stores wine in as cold a temperature that is safe for the wine (such as old rare wine and more fragile wines such as whites and champagne), and also gives the three-zone option to separately age wine such as newer reds in a separate temperature zone. Customizable shelves give incredible flexibility to accommodate differences in bottle sizes such as bordeaux vs burgundy vs champagne vs half-bottles.
Its sleek appearance is Miele all the way. We bought it for storage in a dining room and not the kitchen. It was so quiet in operation that recently when a Miele technician was in to repair an aging Miele dishwasher, I asked him to see if there was something wrong with this unit, because it made absolutely no noise. He did just that, and confirmed that it was working properly with the temperatures as set.
AJ Madison made purchase and installation a breeze. White glove service was perfect. Delivered and installed flawlessly under my watchful supervision.
Highly recommended to anyone who cares about their precious wines.

This is my second wine cooler and with its 3 separate temp zones it is easy to set what temperture you what for each zone.
