KitchenAid has spent decades creating innovative products for the well-equipped kitchen. From commercial grade cooktops and wine cellars to stand mixers and an impressive assortment of cookware, bakeware and accessories, they offer virtually every culinary essential you could need.
Drawer dishwashers create new possibilities for your existing kitchen, and extend your cleanup options into nontraditional areas such as islands and morning bars. Double drawer dishwashers offer the best of both worlds. They fit in the same space as a regular full-size dishwasher, but each drawer operates independently. You can wash heavily soiled pots and pans using once cycle, and a separate load - using a different cycle - in the other drawer.
This dishwasher uses 339 kWh/yr and has an estimated yearly operating cost of $37.60.
The estimated yearly operating cost is based on a 2011 national average electricity cost of $.1109 per kWh. For more information, visit www.ftc.gov/appliances.

Rated 5 out of 5 by aimnorthtc EXCELLENT!
I used this dishwasher for 6 years, with 4 teenagers, and never had a complaint! It was wonderful for large parties, or small loads. The racks come out for large pots and pans and the 2 drawers hold at least half again as much as 2 racks of the traditional style. I can't figure out why everyone is complaining because I'd never use anything else again! I never called for repairs, and it was VERY quiet!

I agree with all the negative rewiews. It doesn't clean your dishes, is noisy and awkward to load. Dinner plates do not fit well and often chip. Do not buy at any price!

I can't believe all the negative reviews! I have had the Kitchen Aid drawer dishwasher and a full size KA dishwasher flanking. We have lots of parties and have them all going but for everyday use I use the drawers and have nothing negative to say about them!
They clean the dishes very well, although I lightly rise them before loading. Sounds like users are letting food particles dry up on the dishes. I don't think any dw would clean unless it was in "heavy wash mode".
Someone stated they had to mop during each cycle. That sounds like thats the cause from poor and incorrect installation.
Great product, I highly reccoment!

Rated 1 out of 5 by prelude429 Horrible dishwasher!!
For such an expensive dishwasher it is horrible. It does not clean well. You need to basically wash the dishes before putting them in the washer. The drawer tracks have a piece that breaks very easily and costs about $75 to replace each time. I thought the brand Kitchenaid would be of higher quality and at the very least clean the dishes. The 10 year old dishwasher I had before this one worked better. If I could give it zero stars I would.
