We made a last minute switch to this sink from the KBU22, and are very glad we did. We wanted a 16 gauge sink, and didn't want to spend $1,000. We have a 1" countertop thickness at the sink, and were worried that this sink might be too deep, but it turns out to be fine. We wanted a deep sink to minimize the amount of water that splashes up out of the sink. The large flat grids are high quality. There were some small small manufacturing scratch marks in the corners that bothered me at first, but with the grids in, you can't see them. We didn't use the strainers that came with the sink. We installed Kohler strainers, which are the nicest I've seen. Between the flatness of the sink bottom, our low water pressure, and the length of the hose attach to our faucet spray head, it isn't so easy to rinse the sink bottom. I have to spray water on the sides and let it flow down and across the bottom. I guess that isn't the fault of the sink. Overall, we are very happy with this sink.

Just received the sink, all I can say is amazing. The quality and finish are exceptional. The packaging is unbeleivable, the sink comes in a bag tp protect it while shipping. The drains look great and I can't wait to install it today. Very heavy duty and solid feeling, the sound deadening blanket on the bottom of the sink even looks good. I have searched for a high quality industrial looking sink and this one fits the bill
