Rated 5 out of 5 by Great slide in Range I am not an expert by any means on ranges or cooking for that matter. Compared to my old range this one is a cadillac. The slide in range is so much better than my stand alone. It is a cleaner appearance. The stainless steel looks great in my kitchen. I have had it in for only two weeks but the oven was tested for Thanksgiving. It performed great. Better than I have ever had before. I did not get the convection because I am a little intimidated by it but, I have since talked to several friends who have the Kitchenaid with the convection and swear by it. I am looking forward to baking for Christmas for a change. The baking I have done so far has been a enjoyable experience with this oven. Everything comes out evenly baked and in the amount of time it should be done. My pumpkin pies were beautiful. Crust was not overdone for a change. I like the digital read out on the oven which shows the temperature of the oven as it heats up. And it heats up quickly. The stove burners work great. There is one large burner for the highest heat, one medium size and two small. I would have preferred two medium and one small. Overall it is a very good product. Since I have very little comparison, I can't say it is the best. 12/5/11
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it! So far so good! We have only owned this range for about a month. We are more than pleased with it. All the features are working as they should. I have been baking and cooking joyously. I want to cook more and more. We are looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner with our new oven. The cool touch front is excellent since we have two little girls and include them when cooking. We also have the matching dishwasher and it makes the kitchen look great. This is a very sleek design. 10/15/10
Rated 1 out of 5 by Awful Oven this is a nice looking but poor performing oven/range. actually the range works ok. but the oven is a disaster. we have had this appliance for about 6 months and already needed 4 repairs. problems included: gas leak, loud high-pitched noise, broken thermostat and broken burner. for a while, the oven took over 1 hour to preheat to 300 degrees. we ended up using our $50 toaster oven as it was more reliable and cooked more evenly. yeah, and KitchenAid doesn't seem to care. and the service reps they send were rude, late, and did very sloppy work. extremely dissatisfied. 12/1/09
Rated 1 out of 5 by Breaks down OFTEN Beautiful LOOKING range. Computerized control panel, which controls everything, breaks down about once every 9 months ... to the tune of $350.00 repair. I would not purchase a KitchenAid product again ... EVER! And KitchenAid doesn't want to know about it. 9/30/08
