Rated 2 out of 5 by Mooks All looks no substance I am grateful we are still within the 30 day return policy! This is a great range to boil water-- but if you are interested in cooking BEWARE! There is only 1 standard burner located in the right rear. The larger double burner is too hot and too wide for standard cooking while great for browning. The two small burners are for simmering- ONLY! The oven is great-- I don't care that it can be heard-- it functions as intended. In conclusion-- this is a very good looking -- ONE BURNER RANGE. Buy a Coleman and put it on the side! 4/5/10

One concern with some people is that you can hear the oven burner cycling on and off. It's not particularly loud, but you can hear it, if you listen for it. Overall, I think this range is a great value! 6/21/08

"Normal" is how KitchenAid describes this sound, which is the oven igniting once a minute to mainain 350 degrees. It's loud, it's annoying, and we wouldn't have bought it if we knew we'd have to hear this over and over and over and over while baking a bread and trying to watch Heroes...Disappointing.
