Rated 5 out of 5 by Stylish, functional Concerning the loudness, this one clocks in at 52db at 3 feet from the front while the compressor is running. It's not the absolute quietest (it's the same as my Whilrlpool Gold it replaced), but it certainly is not "loud." Of course you will hear occasional other louder noises related to the ice maker, but it's rare. 2/20/12
