Do not buy this refrigertator .... One year after our purchased. the ice maker quit ( it only made about ten tubs of ice at our retirement home ).
No warranty left since it's over a year old

Trust me, you do NOT ever want to buy any KitchenAid (Whirpool) refrigerator! The customer service is beyond reprehensible; we bought our fridge brand new and out of the box it did not work properly (no water, no ice, and freezes food in main fridge). After 8 weeks and 4 attempt to repair the fridge it still wouldn't work; their response was that they would continue to try fixing it, repairing more parts until they go it fixed as replacement was not an option until they exhausted all avenues of repair. So, our next step is to wait for the manufacturer to build a new door (from scratch) which takes 6-8 weeks! That's right, 8 weeks of not working AND we have to wait 8 more weeks for another part! Do NOT buy anything Whirpool (Kitchenaid).... if you ever have to go through a repair (which you will based on other reviews I have read) it is a nightmare... it is simply not worth it!

Great look and features, but it is the loudest refrigerator I have owned in 20 years. For this price, it should be much quieter.
