Product Reviews
Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 21 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it This oven is a treat to use. It cooks evenly and in the timeframe stated on recipes. It does seem to take a long time to preheat, though. Its sleek look updates my kitchen all by itself. The microwave heats evenly and efficiently. I love all of the reheat settings; it takes out the guesswork. I felt like this unit was a "splurge" but I am so glad we decided to buy it. 2/18/11
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love my first wall ovens! Bought the Kitchen Aid for the value and appearance, plus the reputation of KA. Both ovens are working well since installation two months ago. Move the convection microwave that also browns- a real timesaver when making smaller portions. The convection bakes and brooks food to perfection! Easy to clean, love the rollout shelves and full glass front inside door. Preheat time has not been a big issue for me...gives me time to prep the meal. 10/21/12
Rated 2 out of 5 by Takes to long to preheat This unit looks good and I heard good things about KA so we splurged and bought this unit. It heats evenly and cleans easily BUT it takes half hour to preheat. That is completely ridiculous. I have to start the oven and then come back 15 minutes later to mix my ingredients- otherwise I am waiting for the oven. So we called customer service and they told us it quickly heats up. When pushed they admit that anything less than a half hour is considered "quick". We had a GE and that ehated up in about 5 minutes. Don't buy the KA - go with GE 5/30/12
Rated 2 out of 5 by disappointed with design Looks great; but disappointed that once the microwave is engaged, the fan, turntable and light remain on until the door is opened or the off button is pushed. I called kitchenaid customer service and the agent initially viewed this as a defect, but after more than 30 minutes on the phone, she determined that this particular model is designed to operate this way. So, whenever I use the microwave, I need to remain nearby, so that I can turn it off when the cook cycle is complete....... disappointing! 5/2/12
