Introducing the U.S. industry's first full-size built-in combination oven with steam-assist technology, which eliminates the need for manual steps such as spritzing or basting. And with dual-fan convection, this oven promotes even airflow for consistent cooking on all 3 racks.
What is Dual-Fan Convection with Steam-Assist Technology?
The dual-fan convection system consists of a hidden, 2,600-watt oven element and 2 round fans in the rear of the oven. This combination promotes the most consistent heat distribution from the convection oven element thoughout the oven cavity. Steam-assist technology enhances flavor and eliminates the need for manual water baths, spritzing and basting. The combination of a dual-fan convection and steam-assit technology provides the most optioal cooking results.
EasyConvect Time and Temperature Conversion System
This system takes the guesswork out of the convection cooking by automatically converting conventional times and temperatures to their lower, more efficient, convection equivalents.

Rated 4 out of 5 by beruke Premium unit - exceptions, as noted!
Installed unit; installation actually went as described in the manual. With the first use of the lower oven, the left convection fan sounded as if it were going to come out of the cabinet. KitchenAid was contacted, immediately contacted a service provider which made an appointment and showed up on time on day 2.
Determined that the fan motor would require replacement. Ordered motor; part arrived in 2 days; he arrived the next day for the installation. The oven was un-installed; when the back panel was removed, the noise vanished. It appears that an electrical connector was trapped between the rear of the fan motor and the back panel binding the motor and fan blade. Connector relocated; noise gone.
Why did the unit leave the factory this way? All that had to be done to hear the noise was to actually run the convection fans - it appears that the customer is KitchenAids inspection department. One other item, this is not an inexpensive unit, do you think they could install the various labels straight? Well, don't expect that either. Open the oven doors and have ALL the labels VERY NOTICEABLY crooked - they can't be peeled and reapplied either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Customer KitchenAid Wall Oven/Miccrowave
The best oven ever.
The steam option lets you cook a roasting chicken in about 1-1/2 hours. The outside is cripsy and the inside is moist.
The microwave has options that let you do everything from steam vegetables to bake bread.
The touch pad screen gives directions so you don't have to refer to the manual all of the time.
WONDERFUL !!
