Rated 1 out of 5 by Simply Horrible Looks great on the countertop. Downdraft fan only runs 30 minutes, then oveheats and quits. Burners create heat very slowly and not very hot. Takes forever to boil water. Control knobs not lighted making information on stove impossible to read unless you cook with a flashlight. Kitchenaid does not provide tech support to customers, only licensed repair personnel. 10/6/11
Rated 5 out of 5 seemless I absolutely love this cooktop. The fan is way more powerful than the last down draft stovetop we had. I love that there are dual rings for the roaster and bigger pots and if needed you can cover two elements with one big pot. It heats up very quickly and I love the "flat" elements - I have really missed the easy clean up that they offer. The all black collects dust probably more than a stainless steel one would but I absolutely love it and wouldn't change it for anything. Also the vent below didn't take up as much space as I thought it would which was really nice. I didn't want my vent to be my feature in the kitchen and this stovetop made sure it wasn't. We love it. 5/7/11

Rated 4 out of 5 by Looks Good, Performs Well Great looking cook top. Instant on, downdraft is extremely effective. Only downside is keeping it clean. Spent more time wiping and polishing than we have cooking! Notwithstanding that, oerall we are very satisfied. 2/6/11
