Rated 3 out of 5 by Hard to set heat level Paid a bunch for this attractive but very disappointing cooktop. Looks great but it's very hard to select the right heat setting. In addition, the settings aren't reliable across the different elements. For example, a medium setting on one burner is actually a very high heat on one and a very low heat on another. Even in the 3-ring burner, Medium on the single vs the medium vs the large size burners is very different. However, one common thing across all of them is High setting is really, really high. I never use it because all my teflon pans off-fume when I do. Regarding the smallest burner, I'd rather have enough room for 4 average pots and pans, than this one burner I never use. 12/26/12
