Rated 5 out of 5 by beechflyer So much nicer than the original
I had the same model number...only 21 years older. Kitchen Aid had told me that this model would fit into the original cut out...NOT TRUE, It was 1/2 wider on each side and 1 " taller from top to bottom. Had to use a saw and increase the cut out space. Additionally, based on the placement of the electrical, it just barely fit into the hole with a min of 1/4" ADDitional space needed.and additional 1/8" stick out in the front. OTHER THAN THAT..I love it! It is wider than the original oven and my pans fit. Not hard to do as a self installation but HEAVY !!! Have 2 strong men to lift this baby. 315 pounds. The lighting is wonderful and you can really see what it in the oven a all times. It is quiet, and the digital controls walk you thru the useage. The extra shelf is great and the roll out shelf is so nice when moving heavy pans in and out. The large glass front is magnificent and fun to watch. So much nicer than my old one. Love it love it! I've had Kitchen aid applicances forever and they really have held up well. I know whirlpool makes them now, but this is a great unit! Highly recommend it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by kitch Very disappointed
I love everything about this oven except that it blows an incredible amount of hot air the entire time it is on and long afterwards during the cool down, regardless of whether you are using convection. It is not acceptable and I am planning on replacing it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JohnB Excellent Ovens
The KitchenAid 27" Electric Wall Oven KEBS277S are excellent in all respects. They look good, function well, and are a superior replacement for our wall ovens. You can see well inside the ovens, the light is excellent, and they provide consistent, uniform heat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by George Great oven
Oven was as expected wrt online information. Only information missed was the color of the interior porcelain finish...metallic blue. which we happened to like. Only operational aspect missing(and this may be our ignorance) is the ACTUAL temperature in the oven. Easy enough to set/control temps, etc..we just do not know how to get the oven to display the temperature that is in the oven currently...if the oven does not do that, it would seem an easy correction by Kitchenaid...all the technology is certainly there.
