One went to Georgia and the other to Boston. The Boston order was delivered 2 days after I ordered it and the delivery man was there just when he said he would be. The salesman over the phone showed me how to comparison shop using the website and this was very helpful. He sent me a quote and honored that price when I finally ordered. The oven is great. I did extensive research and this was the only oven that was self cleaning in both ovens in the size I needed. It came highly recommended and has lived up to expectations. It also looks great too. Thank you AJ Madison for making my buying experience so positive. I would purchase from you in a heartbeat again even when I don't live in NYC! 8/11/10
Rated 1 out of 5 by DONT BUY THIS!!! I replaced a 30 year old Thermador that was 24" wide. Didn't want to totally remodel the kitchen so this was best option. WRONG!!! I don't beleive the designers of this oven have ever cooked in an oven in their lives!!! HORRIBLE!!! As soon as you turn the oven on it starts venting into the room. How is it ever supposed to get to 350??? Says it's preheated in 7 minutes, but an oven thermometer says its more like 22 minutes. Though the kitchen temperature sure rises fast! Really nice in a Louisiana summer!!! Don't even try to broil a steak. The broiler cycles on and off and doesn't work at all if u leave the door slightly open like every other over before it does. DO NOT BUY THIS OVERPRICED SPACE HEATER!!! Baking is guesswork at best. A cake may take 25 minutes this week and 35 next week and 17 the week after. KitchenAid should be ashamed to offer this piece of garbage for sale. The 30 year old Thermador from 1979 vented out of the roof instead of directly in the kitchen. Wished I'd paid the $600 to rewire it instead of the $1700 I paid for this!!!!!! I doubt i will buy another KitchenAid anything even though I love the 12 year old dishwasher I currently have. 4/8/13
Rated 3 out of 5 No choice Unfortunately, I bought a house with a 24" double oven. The only replacement that would not require extensive cabinet work is this Kitchen Aid model. Ridiculously expensive; don't see any difference or improvement in oven working. Convection oven doesn't seem to speed up cooking time or quality of item. Fan still makes a ton of noise to cool down the oven. 1/17/12
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent oven We were replacing a 24" built-in Whirlpool oven, and only Whirlpool and Kitchenaid offered units that could use the existing cutout in our cabinets without extensive cabinetry work. Kitchenaid with its convection oven and self cleaning for both ovens won out. Compared to the old oven, the new one is just great. The wife loves it and has started baking again. Also, the convection oven has quickly become the oven of choice. 11/15/10
