Rated 3 out of 5 by fgable Would have been nice to use it for a year
I have owned this stove for 1 year now. I am happy with the large cook surface, plenty of burners and the appearance, however, I can think of more cons than pros: The lowest oven rack is ball-bearing and tilts front when pulled out the whole way. Because it is convention, the oven depth is shallow, I cannot fit cookie pans long ways. When baking sugar cookies, it is evident the oven cooks uneven by observing the browning of the sugar cookies. Oven size is small: I can only fit a 20lb turkey and 1 casserole dish in it, not what I expected for this price. Front power burners should be in the rear for boiling, they are practically useless for simmering, I just cannot dial in the burner for a good simmer of vegetables. Oven racks get hung-up on the oven lights when sliding in an out. If this were equivalent to an expensive/luxury car (which price wise it should be the best of ovens) it would be discontinued.

Rated 1 out of 5 by BadKA DO NOT BUY
I have owned this range for 6 mos now and it has had everything you can think of replaced. 7 plus repairs and they still cannot fix the continuous ticking of the burners. Once the convection fans in the oven were replaced that started to work fine. Don't be tempted to get this for the steam as I only notice a marginal difference when I use steam/cooking/baking and the filter will need changing every 6 mos. I have a large family and cook everything from scratch, ie. breads, cheesecake, roasts. I am returning this now for a dacor epicure. One last not KA is horrible there attitude is too bad. Can't say enough against them. DONT BUY THIS

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lorne Awesome range, great deal!
I tried many more spendy ranges from Wolf, Dacor, Viking, etc. and this one is BETTER and CHEAPER! The steam feature in the oven (plumbed in) is great, the 20K btu burners are UNHEARD of in a DUAL Fuel. I love this range and feel lucky to own it! It's pretty too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by beruke GREAT RANGE!
Great range; does it all and looks great doing it! The height adjustment system is great.
One minor criticism, we installed the range in an island with stone countertops. The design of the rear of the range does not allow for a tight (more pleasing appearance) fit to the countertop. The rear of the stove has both trim panel screws and louvers that protrude from the stove preventing a "gapless" fit to the stone. The need for the screws and louvers is understandable, but it would seem that a "trim kit" could be devised to improve the installed appearance in an island application. (NOTE: Part # W1026921, TRIM-TOP is NOT a trim kit to hide the gap - no picture on the KitchenAid website)
